BTHA and BAYHOST – stipend for 1 year scholarship in Bavaria

The Bavarian-Czech Academic Agency (BTHA) and BAYHOST has launched a call for a 1 year stipend for university students and graduates.  The stipend is designated to finance the students of master or doctoral study program at any Bavarian public university. The stipend may be awarded also to support a 1 year study stay in Bavaria in frame of doctoral studies at Czech university. The stipend  amounts to 8 820 EUR/year with a possible additional allowance if the applicant has a child.

Regional cooperation projects
It will be possible since October 1, 2018 to submit project proposals for the year 2019 in frame of the programme of Support for regional cooperation among regions and the institutes of CAS. The projects must have an impact within regions. Each project can obtain max. 200 000 Kč from the programme (no investment money).  Participation of a regional partner that co-finances the project is required. Or you can ask for grant support to continue running project (maximaly twice in a row). The duration of a project is 1 year. Attention, a new directive should be made public soon (valid since October 1, 2018).

Call to grant from the Fund for bilateral relations in frame of the EEA grants and Norway grants
The Ministry of finance has launched a 1st open call to submit grant applications to realize bilateral initiatives financed from the Fund for bilateral relations in frame of the EEA grants and Norway grants 2014-2021. The call aims at strengthening and development of bilateral cooperation among the CZ and always one of the following countries - Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein. The scope of activities eligible under the call is wide. As a condition, both beneficiary and grant partner/partners have to participate at planning and activity realization in an active way and the activity must have clear bilateral aspect. The maximum amount per project is 1 281 200 CZK.
Applications are being submitted in English and exclusively online through https://cedr-fm.mfcr.cz/CEDRNFBFNU/!

Activities to be financed (e. g.):

  • workshops, meetings, visits and conferences, seminars on the themes of joint interest;
  • data collection, reports, studies and papers;
  • employee secondments and stays.

Submission of applications is possible continuously up to 30 August 2019 or until the money available in the call is fully allocated (6 406 000 CZK).
