2nd French-Czech Tick Meeting (FCTM2)
The 2nd French – Czech Tick Meeting (FCTM2) was held at the Institute of Parasitology on the 25th and 26th of September.
The 2 day meeting brought together scientists from France working on tick and tick-borne pathogens at ANSES & INRAE and those from the Institute of Parasitology as well as the University of South Bohemia, also conducting research on the same themes. There were close to 30 presentations over the two days given mostly by young scientists, postdocs and doctoral students. The meeting was intended to keep fostering collaborations at various levels between the scientists and the institutions. The next meeting in 2 years will be held in Paris, France.
