The New EMBO Practical Course “Advanced analysis and processing of volume electron microscopy data” will take place on 20–26 September 2026 in České Budějovice, Czech Republic.
This New EMBO Practical Course will provide hands-on training in advanced processing of volume electron microscopy (vEM) data, with a strong focus on the use of artificial intelligence and deep-learning approaches. Participants will gain practical experience with platforms such as MIB, Napari, EMPANADA, and Amira, enabling efficient segmentation, analysis, and interpretation of complex volume EM datasets. The course is intended for researchers at different career stages with prior experience in microscopy or image data analysis.
